Trip to Chickmangalur

Last year we had been to Chikmangalur,hill station in karnataka.The journey was awesome with an exotic scenic beauty.We started from Bangalore and on the way to chickmangalur we thought of covering the historical temples at Belur and Halebidu.

First We visited the Hoysaleswara temple in Halebidu(means 'ruined city').The temple is famous for its decorated outer sculptures.


Next we visited the Belur temple... these are some os the wonderful sculptures out there....






Some of the shots with the scenic beauty of chickmangalur from the top of Mullayangiri Betta...this is supposed to be the peak point in india next to himalayas...here u can feel the clouds paasing you....

While coming back from chickmangalur..we even visited the Bahubali at Sravanabelagola...the picture shows the Feet of the Lord Bahubali..It was a gigantic status one of the biggest in Asia....
